Whom to Blame?

Basically i am a Tamilian, currently living in Pune for my job.I am surviving in Pune for the past 4 months with very few difficulties.

Many of you might know that there are so many languages spoken in India,I am from Tamilnadu where we speak Tamil as our regional language.I don’t know our national language(not by law)-Hindi,without knowing Hindi surviving in Pune is bit hard.I am managing it somehow till date.

At some situations i really feel bad for not knowing Hindi.I started thinking of myself, why i didn’t know Hindi?Everytime if something goes wrong in us,the first person whom we will blame is our PARENTS.I can’t blame them here,as they have taken initiatives to make me learn Hindi.I was not interested on it.I can read the script, but can’t speak or understand much.Do i have to blame myself??Nah...nah...i can’t blame myself here.I know Hindi a bit,but the people around me are also Tamilians and there is no necessity to talk in Hindi at all.How about watching movies in hindi?Very few movies in Hindi gets released in my place.I have seen hindi movies, can’t understand it much. When i don’t know some words there should be someone to tell me.

Can I blame the politicians who are ruling our state.YES....What do you say?????Students who are studying in their regional language at their high school, they will start learning English when they come to college. For that also our politicians have put a full stop to make our fellows remain in the same state,by starting engineering colleges in Tamil medium. If they know only Tamil language how can they communicate fluently with others? When they are in some big international conference, even if they have some new ideas, they won’t come up with that because of the language problem.

You can see many tamilians get settled only in Chennai, they won’t even come forward to explore the other parts of India.Leave the difficulties Tamilians are facing when they are in other states.Think about the people who are coming from other states and have to settle down in Tamilnadu. Each and everyday they will face worst scenarios without knowing the language. They know the national language, but still they will be struggling when they have to settle down in Tamilnadu.

Can we change such scenarios???Yes,i think we can do it.Atleast from the next generation.I have decided to make my children learn Hindi for sure. How about you???
